It's Last Chance Month and the tension in JR's Celebrities of the Month is on. And surprise, surprise, though she was affected by this month's Last Chance Rule, Lady Gaga is still leading the list for the six consecutive time.
It's really You (the blog viewer) and I (blogger) that will see what's up with Hollywood.

Musicians grabbed the top spots in this month's list of the Elite. Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Beyonce grabbed spots in the Top 5. Lady Gaga's rank 11 in Forbes' Most Powerful Women in the World is a huge feat as she already beat the Queen of All Media, Oprah Winfrey, in the list. By the way, an athlete from the bottom ranks of the previous celebrity lists stood up and grabbed a rank of 4 this month. Being the most popular athlete in Facebook and 4th most popular athlete in Twitter, Cristiano Ronaldo is gaining a lot of press and TV attraction lately making him the only athlete to have a rank within the Top 10 in this month's list. Anyways, Harry Potter has also became a hit for the past two months. It already gained a whopping total of more than $1.2 billion movie gross making it the world's third highest grossing film of all time. After Harry Potter becoming a hit and trend for the past months, JK Rowling makes her debut in the list and Daniel Radcliffe becomes a part of the list for the 4th time. The biggest drop this month is that of LeBron James who was previously ranked as 2 and is now rank 12.

METHODOLOGY
The Late Night Celebrities of the Month list is a list in JR Late Night Blogs which is based from the Forbes' Yearly Celebrity 100 List. The Celebrities of the Month List lists the Most Powerful, Most Influential, Most Controversial and Most Popular Celebrities of the past month basing on News and Print Publicity, TV Publicity, Blog Publicity, Facebook Popularity, Twitter Popularity, and Worldwide Recognition. News and Print Rank is based from the total number of related articles of a celebrity from Google NewsTV Publicity Rank is based from the total number of mentions of that celebrity in TMZ, and E! EntertainmentBlogosphere Rank is based from the total number of Google blog search results of the celebrity within the whole time frame of the past month. Another basis is the Social Media Rank which is based from the over-all total of Facebook Fans and Twitter Followers of that celebrity. Worldwide Recognition Rank is a special basis of finding the top celebrities since it considers the total number of search results of a particular celebrity in Google for the past month. JR's Ranking was used as a balancer in cases of ties and other situations. The ranks accumulated would them be added to get the rank score; the lower the rank score, the better the chances of getting a high rank. All in all, there were a total of 20 candidates who are probable to be part of the list but only 15 of them will be recognized. All data were as of the time range: June 14, 2011 - August 14, 2011.

LAST CHANCE RULE APPLIES
Since August 2011 is Last Chance Month, the last chance rule for the Celebrity lists applies. All celebrities who earned a rank of 1 from the previous months will automatically receive a rank less than half of the total number of candidates for the JR's Ranking. For this list, those who earned a previous rank of one are Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey. Meaning to say, they automatically will receive a JR's Ranking less than 10 (11 to 20).
