Number of Episodes: 488
Running Time: 21 - 24 minutes

About The Simpsons (from TV.com):
Originally created by cartoonist Matt Groening, "Our Favorite Family," has graced the small screen in one form or another for over 20 years. The Simpson family first appeared on television as the subjects of interstitial "shorts" on The Tracey Ullman Show in April of 1987. The Simpsons remained a staple on The Tracey Ullman Show for three seasons until they premiered in their own half-hour series, on December 17, 1989. With the help of Jim Brooks and Sam Simon, Matt Groening's cartoon family turned into an instant success. Set in Springfield, the average American town, the show focuses on the antics and everyday adventures of the Simpson family; Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, as well as a virtual cast of thousands. Since the beginning, the series has been a pop culture icon, attracting hundreds of celebrities to guest star. The show has also made name for itself in its fearless satirical take on politics, media and American life in general. Currently in its 21st season, The Simpsons has piled up over 440 episodes, over 20 Emmy Awards, a handful of music albums, countless endorsements and merchandise, and even made the jump to the silver screen in the summer of 2007 with The Simpsons Movie. And according to Matt Groening, "There is no end in sight."

Why JR Loves This Show?
The Simpsons is my favorite TV show in JackTV. The Simpsons, after two decades of giving laughter to people worldwide, it is still standing strong and continuing its popular situation comedy. Though reportedly to end this 2011, The Simpsons has a lot of fans that it will kill the hearts of many if the show will end. The Simpsons remain one of JR's Favorite Cartoon Series in TV History. The Simpsons not just make a lot of individuals laugh but it also helps us express our opinions regarding our government and economy; that's what make The Simpsons unique from any other show.

Bones
Bones

Genre: Crime-Procedural Comedy Drama
Starring: Emily Deschanel, David Boreanaz, Michaela Conlin, T.J. Thyne, Tamara Taylor, John Francis Daley
Executive Producer: Hart Hanson, Barry Josephson, Stephen Nathan, Ian Toynton
Created by: Hart Hanson

Number of Seasons: 6
Number of Episodes: 129
Running Time: 43 minutes
Location: Los Angeles, United States
Distributor: 20th Century Fox Television
Original Run: 13 September 2005 - present

About Bones (from TV.com):
From executive producers Barry Josephson and Hart Hanson comes the darkly amusing drama Bones, inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. Forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan, who works at the Jeffersonian Institution and writes novels as a sideline, has an uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim's bones. Consequently, law enforcement calls her in to assist with murder investigations when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned, or destroyed that the standard identification methods are useless. Brennan has been teamed with Special Agent Seeley Booth, a former Army sniper who mistrusts science and scientists when it comes to solving crimes. Brennan and Booth clash both professionally and personally, but the chemistry between them has grown since they first met and has made them a strong and trusting team. Brennan's equally brilliant colleagues (or "squints" as they're often called) at the Jeffersonian's Medico-Legal Lab include earthy and bawdy Angela Montenegro, who's created a unique way to render an original crime scene in a three-dimensional computer image; Dr. Jack Hodgins, who's an expert on insects, spores and minerals, but conspiracy is his hobby; and Brennan's boss Dr. Camille "Cam" Saroyan, who replaced Dr. Daniel Goodman after the first season. Zack Addy, a young prodigy whose genius IQ sometimes distances him from reality, was Brennan's former assistant, but at the end of season three he left the Jeffersonian. To aid Booth and Brennan in their persisting struggles, psychologist Dr. Lance Sweets signed on in season three as their therapist, and more recently has been hired to work in the lab to provide his unique input on cases.

Why JR Loves This Show?
Bones is another great show in JackTV. What I like about this show is how it solves crimes through the usage of bone remains; unlike C.S.I., the only thing people in Bones do to solve crimes is by the investigation of bone samples of victims of crimes. Besides from a great cast, the scenes of the show are extremely what a person awaits in every episode. I, for one, watch the series because I am interested on the problems each investigators has the solve and the way how they will find or locate the killer. The plot of each episode is unique as it also brings science to a new level where there are experiments being done by special guest stars. In the show, the detectives and crime scene investigators are always challenged to solve a crime in only one-two weeks.

Number of Episodes: 156

About Conan (from TV.com):
Conan O'Brien hosts Conan, his own late night show on TBS, airing before Lopez Tonight.

Why JR Loves This Show?
After 16 years of hosting NBC's Late Night and 1 year of hosting NBC's Tonight Show, Conan had already parted ways with NBC and started his new show on TBS named Conan. Being a part of Team Coco, I really await this show of Conan O' Brien after his departure from the NBC cable TV network. Conan O' Brien is what I believe to be one of NBC's greatest loss. Well, as they say, it's there loss not his. Conan's new show is jampacked with new funny segments (i.e. Angry Birds, Facebook Photo, Fan Corrections, etc) and exclusive guest stars (i.e. Fake Ted Turner, Larry King, Mike Sorrentino, etc.). Conan is a show that everyone should watch.

Why JR Loves This Show?
One word, inspires. The show inspires a lot of kids and teens from around the world. The concept of "underdogs" in a show by Ryan Murphy is really inspirational as it shows that everyone has the chance to become sensational, popular and influential. Financial capabilities, sexual orientation, body built, dance abilities, academic standing, school government positions don't really matter in this show. What matters the most is the voice and talent of each cast member.

About WWE Raw (from TV.com):
Considered by many to be the dominant brand in World Wrestling Entertainment, WWE Monday Night RAW features some of the biggest and baddest Superstars. With wrestlers like John Cena, Kofi Kingston, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz & CM Punk and with Divas like Melina, Maryse & Eve Torres, RAW is the "red"-hot brand for the WWE.

Why JR Loves This Show?
The longest running weekly television show, without any breaks, in history is the famous title of WWE Raw. Without no doubt, the name itself gives each individual an idea of what the show is about; WWE which means World Wrestling Entertainment and Raw meaning fresh and new. Each episode gives the audience the thrill and excitement of wishing a wrestler to win a particular match. I, for one, wishes that John Cena wins some bouts, Jeff Hardy comes back in the near future, Shawn Michaels shows us one more time his sweet chin music and the Undertaker to continue his ultimate streak of 19-0. Though each storyline is scripted, the matches seen in WWE are real, not scripted and should never be attempted by anyone.

About Futurama (from TV.com):
Futurama follows the comic exploits of Phillip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy, who was accidentally cryogenically frozen in 1999, and awakens in the year 3000, finding much has changed, and, yet, is seemingly familiar. Together with an assortment of alien, robot, and human friends, he works for an intergalactic delivery service, Planet Express, run by his descendant nephew, and finds many adventures along the way.

Why JR Loves This Show?
The brother show of The Simpsons is also one of JR's favorite animated shows of all time. Futurama does not only gives us an animated view of what lies in the future ahead of us but it also gives us an idea that life is possible in outer space. Futurama, though fictional, follows the life of a unique cast: a pizza delivery boy, a one-eyed girl, a robot, an alien lobster, a super old scientist and a super old mom of robots. The reason why JR loves this show is its power to make people laugh from its weird yet different segments/storylines.

Judging the competition are JC Chasez, Shane Sparks, and Lil' Mama.

Why JR Loves This Show?
Other than The Voice, American Idol, and the Amazing Race, another reality show that JR likes is Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew. Dancing is not just a talent but it is also an art that everyone looks up to. All of us, whether you like it or not, are made by the glorious heavens with dancing capabilities. In this show, these dancing skills are put to the test through teams of more than 8 but less than 15 with different challenges like those with the usage of props, the reenaction of popular music videos and the popularization of famous music video personalities. The show also produced some of the world's most respected dance crews: JabbaWockeeZ and Poreotix.

About Pushing Daisies (from TV.com):
This romantic comedy shows us the fairy tale-like world of Ned, a man who can bring dead people back to life through the power of his touch. The same touch he must use to "kill" them after no more than a minute or another person will die. With the help of Emerson, a local PI, Ned uses his ability to solve murder cases and cash in on any rewards. But things get complicated when a murder victim turns out to be Ned's long-lost childhood crush and he decides to break the rules and let her live. The show is created by Bryan Fuller, who has brought us fantasy series such as Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me. The series shares the quick-witted comedy and darker emotions of Fuller's previous shows.

Why JR Loves This Show?
Another great show in JackTV is Pushing Daisies. Though already finished in only 2 seasons (22 episodes), JR really loved the show's concept of solving crimes by the power of bringing back dead people to life. I also got enticed by the idea that as one dead individual is given the chance to live for more than one minute another individual living must die. Those weird concepts of the show is what I always await in each and every episodes of the series. Though not already shown in JackTV, JR is searching for an original DVD set of the series. Given the chance to choose three extraordinary supernatural powers, I would choose the power to see the future, the power to move things using my mind, and the power to bring the dead back to life using my sense of touch.

The Middle

Genre: Situation Comedy
Starring: Patricia Heaton, Neil Flynn, Charlie McDermott, Eden Sher, Atticus Shaffer
Executive Producer: DeAnn Heline, Eileen Heisler
Created by: DeAnn Heline, Eileen Heisler

Number of Seasons: 3
Number of Episodes: 54
Running Time: 22 minutes
Location: Orson, Indiana, United States
Distributors: Blackie and Blondie Productions, Warner Bros. Television
Original Run: 30 September 2009 - present

About The Middle (from TV.com):
This new comedy series uses a mother's point of view to shed light on the lives of a middle-class family in the Midwest. The show focuses on the Heck family's life in an Indiana suburb and is narrated by Frankie, a dedicated—though frazzled—mother who works at a local car dealership and volunteers for school functions. Father Mike works at a quarry and takes a more laid back approach to most things, but backs up Frankie with force when the need arises. Oldest child Axl, a snarky, surly, high schooler, spends much of his time napping and roams around the home shirtless. Geeky, gangly, braces-wearing Sue is trying to navigate her way through junior high, join the cool crowd, and avoid Axl's endless onslaught of taunts, none of which she does with much success. Youngest child Brick is in elementary school and is the academic in the family, but suffers from near-crippling social anxieties and possesses an odd habit of repeating words he just said back to himself in a loud whisper.

Why JR Loves This Show?
The family is the basic unit of population/economy (followed by, of course, the community). The father is always the Commander-in-Chief and the kids are always the Key Followers, and as you can see, the mother should always be in the middle to keep balance, peace and unity in the family. The Middle is the show for all mothers who are always stressed from their family's day-to-day problems. The show is not just a show full of laughter and sadness but it also a show of reality. The show puts real-life situations to the test where the mother tries to help her children and husband solve their day-to-day dilemmas / problems.

About The Glee Project (from TV.com):
Performers will compete for a multi-episode guest-starring role on season three of "Glee."

Why JR Loves This Show?
Not because the show is dominated by teens but the reason why I watch this show is that it pushes these teens to their limits through different challenges to prove to the creators of Glee that they have what it takes to be in the show. These challenges include Theatricality, Vulnerability, Dance Ability, Pairability, Tenacity, Sexuality, Believability and Generosity, with the final challenge being named as Glee-ality. Another thing that interests me in this show are the different music videos that the show creates with the contenders being the main singers and cast of the music video.
