The remake was better than the old film in terms of graphics and special effects. The movie plot, however, is somewhat lacking and not that exciting compared to the old one since the first Clash of the Titans film consisted of a lot of scenes which were really definitive of the Ancient Greek culture and the story of heroic Perseus consisting of more mythological characters, more hair-raising battles, and more exciting gamechangers. I have to admit that the old film was better considering that its story was longer and more fun to watch. In a way, I love the film considering that it comprised of ancient civilization and their beliefs. In addition, the transitioning of the film to a 3D version before showing it to the big screen is essential because critics, which I also agree, consider that the 2D version is more money-wise. Let us remember that a film, even though highly publicized, may not become successful once critics review it. All-in-all, I consider Clash of the Titans as one of my favorite mythology films. This film gave me interest in learning more about Greek Mythology. The movie is speculated to be made to a trilogy and I am looking forward to watching all because the first Clash of the Titans film did not manage to have any sequel.
