JR's Pinoy Celebrity List is back.
This is JR's first Pinoy Celebrity List after it's newest bi-monthly scheduling. And by the way, Manny Pacquiao is already beaten off as the Celebrity of June 2011. A new member of the list grabs this month's top spot making Manny Pacquiao's first step down after 5 months of leading the Pinoy Celebrity lists.
The Queen of All Media is also back on top after losing his number 2 spot last April 2011. She regains a spot on the Top 3 but he is still trailing behind Manny Pacquiao and the new Celebrity of the Month. In addition, AJ Perez is still trending in this real-life world though he is already living in the sanctuary of peace. He might even be listed in one more month in JR's Celebrity Lists. Take note, a dead celebrity might still be included in the list provided that he/she is trending in the news and web. Another notable record in this month's list is KC Concepcion's debut, she even ranked higher than his mom, Sharon Cuneta who is at rank 11. There are 4 drop-offs in this month's list but there are 3 new members to the list with 2 celebrity comebacks.
METHODOLOGY
The JR Late Night Pinoy Celebrities of the Month is a list based from the Forbes' Yearly Celebrity 100 List. The Pinoy Celebrities of the Month List lists the Most Powerful, Most Controversial, Most Influential, and Most Popular Celebrities of the past and current month basing on Press, Entertainment, Web, Social Media, and Philippine Popularity. Press Rankings are based from the total number of related articles of a particular celebrity from Google News (
news.google.com). Entertainment Rankings are based from the total number of mentions of the celebrity in the Philippine Entertainment Portal (
pep.ph). Web Rankings are based from the total number of blog search results (
blogsearch.google.com) of the celebrity within the time frame of 01 May 2011 to 09 June 2011. Social Media Ranking is based on the total number of Facebook (
facebook.com) Fans and Twitter (
twitter.com) Followers of the celebrity. The rank obtained in this category is always multiplied to 2 since we consider two bases in the Social Media Ranking. Another basis is the Philippine Popularity Rankings which are based from the total number of celebrity search results in Google Philippines (
google.com.ph). JR's Ranking was used as a balancer in cases of ties and other situations. There were 16 Pinoy Celebrities who qualified to be part of the list but only 12 would be recognized.
