Check out previous JR's Top 20 Music Videos of the Year lists:

As the year 2011 closes, JR presents his latest list of the Top 20 Music Videos that shook the entire year. Music Videos that earned a lot of YouTube hits, a very high Billboard Charts rank, and positive reviews from 01 January 2011 to 25 December 2011 were the ones chosen by JR in the construction of this list.

Three of Lady Gaga's unique artistic music videos ("Born This Way", "You and I", "Marry The Night") enter this year's list. However, one artist made more entries than she did. This year belongs to Katy Perry who earned four ranks in JR's Top 20 Music Videos of the Year list ("Firework", "Last Friday Night", "E.T.", "The One That Got Away"). While Katy Perry and Lady Gaga dominated the list, Rihanna steps up as her "We Found Love" music video grabs this year's #1 spot. Foster The People also debuts in JR's list, as both their "Call It What You Want" and "Pumped Up Kicks" music video gained votes from last year. Eminem, on the other hand, continues to be in JR's list as his "Lighters" music video reigns in the Top 3. Adele's chart-topping hit "Rolling in the Deep" also made the Top 5. Unfortunately, Taylor Swift (who had one entry last year) and Justin Bieber (who had three entries last year) had no entries in this years list.

Note: All data in the list (such as YouTube Views Count) were as of blog close: 25 December 2011.
