After two years of JR Late Night Blogs blog presence,
JR's Top 10 Halloween Props lists returns with more gruesome, more twisted, more demented, more weird, and more iconic products.

A lot of new Halloween Props rocked the internet community for the past few months. A lot of props surprised us with new eccentric but exciting features. This year, however, we expand our source to three online Halloween Stores: Halloween Asylum (with four products in the list), The Horror Dome (with five), and Haunted Props (with one). This month, being JR Late Night Saw Halloween, is a great time to look back at some of the most memorable, most gruesome, and deadliest traps from the Saw franchise, the Most Successful Horror Series in History. JR presents to you a list that defines his Most Favorite Saw Traps of All Time. After all, JR's Most Favorite Movie Series is no other than the Saw film series. THE VENUS FLY TRAP

(SAW II)

TRAP DESCRIPTION:

This trap was similar to an iron maiden device, but on a much smaller scale. The trap consisted of a harness, attached to the victim's chest, which was only removable if the key to the padlock was obtained. Attached to the harness was a contraption which consisted of two metal masks, opposite from each other and angled down from the victim's head.Each mask had several nails protruding inwards from the interior. The device was connected to a spring timer, and if it wasn't removed in time, the two masks would clamp together on the victim's head, in a similar fashion to that of a Venus Flytrap, and drive the nails through his skull. The victim of this trap was Michael Marks, a police informant. He woke up in an empty room, and found himself in the helmet. In order to remove the device, Michael was instructed that he would have to find the key to the harness, which he soon learned, from a video tape and some X-rays of his own skull, was hidden behind his right eye. Supplied with a scalpel, he attempted to surgically remove his eye, but found that he couldn't himself to do it, and threw the scalpel across the room in anger. The timer expired, and the masks snapped shut on his head, killing him.

JIGSAW'S TAPE INSTRUCTIONS:

"Hello, Michael. I want to play a game. So far in what could loosely be called your life, you've made a living watching others. Society would call you an informant, a rat, a snitch. I call you unworthy of the body you possess, of the life you've been given. Now we will see if you are willing to look inward, rather than outward, to give up on the one thing you rely on in order to go on living. The device around your neck is a death mask. The mask is on a spring timer. If you do not locate the key in time, the mask will close. Think of it like a Venus Flytrap. What you are looking at right now is your own body, not more than two hours ago. Don't worry, you're sound asleep and can't feel a thing. Taking into account that you are at a great disadvantage here, I am going to give you a hint as to where I've hidden the key. So listen carefully, the hint is this: it's right before your eyes. How much blood will you shed to stay alive, Michael? Live or die, make your choice."

JR starts another tradition in JR Late Night Blogs - The JR Late Night Fictional Celebrities of Halloween lists. With Halloween 2011 nearing, JR lists 2011's Most Popular Fictional Celebrities of the Halloween Universe.

In this first Fictional Celebrities of Halloween list, John Kramer of the famous Saw series leads the list. With his grisly and terrifying games finally over, a lot of people are still wondering whether a new Jigsaw will rise in the near future. Behind him is The Hunter from the Left 4 Dead video game series who is famous for killing and injuring humans who passes through his path. Also in the list are serial killer legends - Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th and Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street. In this list, Jason beats Freddy for another time. It is really Jason who is the better man in the battle of him and Freddy. Other notable entries in the list are Twilight's Edward Cullen and Jacob Black, Charmed's Halliwell Sisters, Plants VS Zombies' Dr. Zomboss, and Regan MacNeil from The Exorcist. Unfortunately, Medusa - the Greek mythological character with a thousand snakes, Nero - the notorious Roman emperor and Lord Voldemort - who terrorized Harry for a lot of years, did not make the cut for 2011's list. METHODOLOGY

The Late Night Fictional Celebrities of Halloween list is a list in JR Late Night Blogs which lists the Most Popular Fictional Celebrities of the Halloween Universe basing on News Rank (25%), YouTube Rank (10%), Web Rank (30%), Facebook Rank (25%), Google Rank (7%) and JR's Fictional Rank (3%). News Rank is based from the total number of related articles of a particular fictional celebrity from Google News. YouTube Rank is based from the total number of spoof videos of each fictional celebrities in YouTube. Web Rank is based from the total number of Google Blog Search search results of the fictional celebrity within the whole time frame of the past month. Another basis is the Facebook Rank which is based from the over-all total of Facebook Fans of the fictional celebrity. Google Rank is a special basis of finding the top celebrities since it considers the total number of search results of a particular fictional celebrity in Google for the past month. JR's Fictional Rank was used as a balancer in cases of ties and other situations. After the gathering of the data, the data will be processed using an algorithm to obtain a rank score. The lower the rank score, the higher the rank the buddy can obtain; but the higher the rank score, the lower the rank the buddy can obtain. In the selection of fictional celebrities, JR chose fictional characters famous for being a vampire, werewolf, witch, zombie, scary creature, serial killer and part of underworld mythology. All data were as of the time range: January 01, 2011 - October 24, 2011.

For the last time this 2011 before JR lists the 25 Celebrities of the Year 2011 list, JR lists the 12 Most Powerful, Most Influential, Most Popular and Most Controversial Celebrities for the past month.

With Angel Locsin dropping off the list and Anne Curtis still at number two, Manny Pacquiao moves up to Rank #1 making his record for "Pinoy Celebrity with Most Peak Ranks at Number 1" stronger and more undefeatable. Manny Pacquiao became a trend lately after a lot of his fans are showing their support through social media for his upcoming fight against Juan Manuel Marquez. Very close is the Pinoy Queen of All Social Media - Anne Curtis. With a staggering 1.8 million Twitter followers, Anne Curtis is still the World's Most Followed Filipino. Individuals who remained in the list are Kiefer Ravena (#11),  Richard Gutierrez (#7), and Cristine Reyes (#4). Vice Ganda moves from #3 down to #12. His newest movie, Praybeyt Benjiman, did not hit a trend in the internet and the press. Newbies to the list are Nico Salva who earned the title of MVP in the recently concluded UAAP and Christian Bautista who is earning popularity from the tv series Kitchen Musicial. Two of this month's most notable drop-offs are Angel Locsin who was previously ranked #1 and AJ Perez who was listed in all of the previous Pinoy celebrity lists this 2011... With all these updates, let's see what's up with the Pinoy Celebrities list.

The Pinoy Celebrities of the Month List lists the Most Powerful, Most Controversial, Most Influential, and Most Popular Celebrities of the past and current month basing on News and Print Publicity (25%), TV Publicity (10%), Blog Publicity (30%), Social Media Popularity (25%), Philippine Popularity (7%) and JR's Celebrity Ranking (3%). News and Print Rank is based from the total number of related articles of a particular celebrity from Google News. TV Publicity Rank is based from the total number of mentions of the celebrity in the Philippine Entertainment Portal. Blogosphere Rank is based from the total number of Google blog search results of the celebrity. Social Media Rank is based on the total number of Facebook Fans and Twitter Followers of the celebrity. Philippine Popularity Rank is based from the total number of the celebrity's search results in Google Philippines. JR's Celebrity Ranking was used as a balancer in cases of ties and other situations. The ranks accumulated would then be processed using an algorithm made by JR; the lower the rank score, the better the chances of getting a high rank. It's been one year since JR's re-release of the Celebrities of the Month list. This is the first complete year of the Celebrities of the Month list in JR Late Night Blogs.

Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber once again ranks on top of the list for the second consecutvie month. These two music icons would surely be hard to defeat in the upcoming months as they already established a very large empire in the Web, Press, Facebook and Twitter. This might even lead to Lady Gaga's second consecutive Celebrity of the Year title. A suprising leap to the top is that of Ryan Murphy; after his release of Glee (Season 3) and The American Horror Story, the press and web are really all eyes on him. Cristiano Ronaldo is also continuing his title as the Most Popular Athlete in the World. New entries this month are Taylor Lautner, who has recently starred in the movie Abduction, Kristen Stewart, who is probed in the upcoming film of the Twilight movie series, and Maroon 5, who really made us Move Like Jagger. Conan O' Brien also returned after getting high search results from Yahoo! as well as having high ratings for his show - Conan. In addition, Manny Pacquiao reestablishes himself in the list after his last appearance way back June 2009.
