Remarking how much she looked like his old crush, Michelle, Ganryu decided to enter the fifth tournament, convinced that he would win Julia's heart if he recovered her lost Forest Rejuvenation Data.

Race: Human
Fighting Style: Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts

Asuka Kazama (born August 31, 1990) was introduced in Tekken 5. She is more famously known as the cousin of the series' protagonist, Jin Kazama. Not surprisingly, since Asuka and Jin have the same surname, it is known, through an official statement made by Namco, that they are cousins.

TEKKEN 5 STORY:
Asuka's official story states that she was taught Kazama-style Traditional Martial Arts by her father, a dojo-master near Osaka, ever since she was young. At the time in which the game takes place, Asuka is seventeen years old and is a high school student. She has a friend called Mazen.
Asuka returned home from school one day to find that her dojo was in shambles. The students there had been beaten severely and her father was so badly hurt that he had to be taken to the hospital. In the next several days, a detective from Hong Kong, Lei Wulong, came to her and explained that the culprit would likely be entering The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. In order to get her personal revenge and redeem her dojo, Asuka enters the tournament as well. During the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5,Asuka finds out that Feng Wei is responsible for the damage to the dojo.Asuka fails to find Feng,and after the tournament is over,Lei returns to Hong Kong and things are once again back to normal.
Ending: Asuka has defeated Jinpachi. She then runs over to the unconscious body of Devil Jin who begins to transform into his half form (no horns or wings). Asuka tries to wake up Jin, and she does while reversing the rest of his transformation. However when he tries to get up, he trips both of them and lands in between Asuka's breasts. When she gets up, she is at first embarrased, but then turns angry, while punching him towards a rock, calling him a pervert. While Jin wonders "What was that about?" a rock falls on him, ironically knocking him out.

Jinpachi Mishima
JINPACHI MISHIMA
- The Ultimate Boss of Tekken 5

Debut: Tekken 5
Race: Human / Devil
Fighting Style: Mishima-Style Karate

Jinpachi Mishima (born September 6, 1899) is a fictional character in the Tekken fighting game series. Jinpachi Mishima, first introduced as the main antagonist in Tekken 5, is the father of Heihachi Mishima, thus being grandfather to Kazuya Mishima and great-grandfather to Jin Kazama. Although Jinpachi has the distinction of being the first boss character of the Tekken franchise to be featured without being selectable (as was the case in the arcade and Playstation 2 versions of Tekken 5 as well as the arcade and Playstation Portable versions of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection), he was eventually made selectable in the PlayStation 3 version of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection and will be playable in Tekken Tag 2 Tournament.

TEKKEN 5 STORY:
In Wang Jinrei's epilogue, Jinpachi tells Wang that after he died, a certain "thing" (claimed to be the devil in Jinpachi's ending) took over his body, resurrecting him and endowing him with supernatural power. Honmaru was left practically in ruins after The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, when Jin Kazama left both Heihachi and Kazuya unconscious. Soon after, G Corporation, a rival of the Mishima Zaibatsu, attacked with a unit of Jack-4s. Kazuya stayed and fought alongside Heihachi for a short time, but then threw Heihachi into the group of Jack-4s to cover his own escape. One of them self-destructed, seemingly killing Heihachi. The resulting explosion released Jinpachi from the basement of Honmaru, and the demon that possesses his body seeks to destroy all existence. Jinpachi emerged from the rubble to seize control of the Mishima Zaibatsu. After taking back the Zaibatsu, Jinpachi could feel the entity which controlled him slowly dominating his mind and will. He decided to host a fifth King of Iron Fist Tournament, hoping that one of the fighters that emerged would be able to defeat him and kill him. On a more personal level, Jinpachi wrote a letter to his old friend, Wang Jinrei, asking him to enter the tournament and stop the cursed Mishima bloodline.

Sergei DragunovSERGEI DRAGUNOV
- A Transgenic Military Kangaroo

Debut: Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection
Race: Human
Fighting Style: Russian Sambo

Sergei Dragunov (born February 3, 1981) is a fictional character in the Tekken fighting game series. He is one of the two characters that first appeared in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, along with Lili. He employs brutal grabs, vicious non-escapable counters, and CQC techniques, based on Russian Sambo. Although a newcomer on Tekken, he is mostly well known for his quick grabs, counters, and the great deal of variety of attacks being shifted into grabs, as well as being the prominent military figure in the Tekken cast. With the exception of various grunts and kiais during fights, Dragunov speaks very little, although he does make little sounds whenever he gets hit. His mission was to capture Devil Jin and Jinpachi Mishima.

TEKKEN 5 DARK RESURRECTION STORY:
A member of SPETSNAZ (Russian Special Forces), Dragunov is considered the very symbol of fear on the battlefield. His overwhelming fighting prowess has earned him the title "The White Angel of Death". Involved in the investigation of an unknown body that fell to Earth in Siberia, Dragunov received special orders presumably regarding Devil Jin, and entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament Five in order to carry them out. His precise motivations and the true nature of his orders are unknown. In an in-game cutscene prior to his fight against Raven, Raven says that he is, "on to [Dragunov's] organization," and tells him to go back to Russia.

Armor King IIARMOR KING II
- A Transgenic Military Kangaroo

Debut: Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection
Race: Human
Fighting Style: Luchadores

Armor King (born July 12, 1960) is a character introduced in the original Tekken. His identity has possibly been used by two different persons in the series. The original Armor King is the former mentor of Tekken's recurring character, King. For some time he was a rival to King, but eventually they became very close friends, with Armor King bringing King back from alcoholism in Tekken 2 to reclaim his glory and overcome his addiction. Armor King was killed (accidentally) later on in the Tekken canon by Craig Marduk in a fight. During the fifth tournament Armor King apparently returns. It would later be revealed through his ending in Tekken 6 that the renewed Armor King is in fact the brother of the original Armor King. Armor King the second (born December 22, 1969) just like King, does not audibly speak, but he does make growling noises that sound like a jaguar's growl. Armor King's audible growls are translated into speech, much like King's.

TEKKEN 5 DARK RESURRECTION STORY:
"The mysterious masked wrestler, Armor King.... Just who is behind the steel armor and black jaguar mask and what do they seek? The answer is veiled in mystery." That is all that is said about him in his Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection prologue. There is no mention of him being the original Armor King or a new holder of the title. However, in Armor King's Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection ending, just after defeating Jinpachi Mishima, he walks away. Then King II is seen walking towards him, asking who he is. Instead of replying, Armor King kicks him in the stomach and performs a Tombstone Piledriver, then walks away. King then comes to and claims to recognize his moves.

JR'S VIDEO GAME REVIEW

RATING BREAKDOWN:
Story = 10/10
Game Designs = 21/25
Minimal Glitches = 20/20
Graphics = 20/25
Sound = 20/20

AVERAGE GAME RATING9.4

I. STORY (10/10)
Tekken has always been the game of minor and major stories. With the many characters of the game, there are different storylines for each. There is an introductory storyline, there is a battle storyline, there is a pre-ending storyline, and there is an ending storyline. Considering that Tekken 5 has a total of 33 different playable characters, either in a single-player or multi-player mode, and it has 4 different storylines, Tekken has truly a lot of stories to share. Totally and definitely, JR loves how the Tekken creators continue the story of each character after each game sequel. This game must absolutely receive a 10 for its storyline.

II. GAME DESIGNS (23/25)
The game design is nice and very unique. However, one particular game element just stuck to the same old Tekken 4. There was not much improvement to the battle arenas, since it was like the improved battle arenas of Tekken 4 and 3. There was not much new to the gamer's eyes when we talk about this particular topic. What I liked about Tekken 5 is the new and enchanced way of redesigning the outfits of the playable characters, I wish there was a create a character mode in Tekken just like the Create a Superstar Mode in WWE Smackdown VS Raw. Anyways, all-in-all the game is much and I mean much better than Tekken 4.

III. MINIMAL GLITCHES (20/20)
Tekken is a fighting game and a game of minimal glitches. There are not much glitches in the Tekken series from its first release (Tekken 1) to its current release (Tekken 6: Bloodline Revolution).

IV. GRAPHICS (23/25)
The game had used a lot of CGI graphics, from the different battle arenas to the different playable characters in the game. There is not much new, however, to the characters; as they were still wearing the same outfit they wore from the game prequels. However, the game had a huge leap in the fighting genre of the video game industry since it used the new redesigning of the character's looks and outfits (as I have mentioned in my review on the Game Designs). That new game feature is what I quote as "The Best New Game Enhancement in Video Game Fighting History". I also liked how each of the storylines in the game are not just the regular Windows Movie Maker or the regular Steven Spielberg film or the regular Jerry Bruckheimer TV show, the game had used great game graphics for each of the character's storylines. Great job, Tekken creators.

V. SOUND (18/20)
I actually am very aware of the sounds the Tekken game used from its very first release to its current release. I always remember the background sound (or music) that is played when you are fighting against Marshall Law. (hehe...) I also remember the sound played when Hwaorang fights. Nice, isn't it? I would very much commend on how the sound plays in the exact movements of each character. It is another improvement since I noticed that in the previous game releases, the sound sometimes come late after the movements.

VI. JR'S FINAL COMMENT
Tekken has always been my favorite video game in terms of the Fighting Genre. Ever since it was released in the PlayStation1 console, I already am addicted on collecting and finishing each of the game series. Now, as years pass by and until a decade passed by, Tekken has now reached a new ultimate momentum in history as it is the only game, with Final Fantasy, to have a game release in each of the known video game consoles. I had been excited with the release of the Tekken 5 and Tekken 6 since I want to see what's new with the sequels of the game. I sometimes play in the Quantum Game Amusement Center in SM, somewhat like the place of arcade games, here in our city since I could not afford to buy a Tekken 6: Bloodline Revolution game.
